About Fose1 / John Tagle.

John Tagle/Fose1

John Tagle has been illustrating and painting since the age of 11. At the age of 14, he won second place in Chicago Art Institute's well published contest, "Draw Me." The only thing is, he didn't draw what was shown... he produced a very elaborate perspective drawing of Nintendo's Zelda crouched on top of a cliff, overlooking a forest, a river, and a castle in the distance. He was personally visited by one of the staff from the Institute and was told he took second place for the Southern California region. He studied for 1 year and obtained 1 year of college credits in art by the age of 15.
During his late teens he was well into drawing and painting street art, known as "graffiti", and learned his color palette from there. He met some very famous artists and continued to learn by self-taught methods. After high school, he joined the military and traveled around the U.S. quite a bit and painted at different locations when ever he got the chance.
By the age of 27, he attended The Art Institutes of California - San Diego, graduating at the age of 30 with a Bachelor's Degree in Digital Arts. He began a life in Graphic Design and Illustration as a working professional for companies such as Legendary Headwear, Inc., U.S. Open Golf Tournament, PGA Tournament, Oneill, Rip Curl, Grave Digger Monster Truck, Genius Entertainment, and UC San Diego to name a few. He continues to reside in Southern California and work on his craft and passion.

From conceptual to final production CADs, logos are a standard must in the "Green Grass" industry. Creation of logo 'name drops', redraws for digitizing  CADs for production, art presentations, to marketing POP, these are a regular ritual of my daily tasks.
Titleist is also a large part of my daily consumption, when I create the logos and CADs for many of the pro golfing events.
Staying flexible with my design direction, I also take on challenges in our company by leaping over to other industries such as surf, skate, snow, auto, and urban.
